About Me
Artist, Wife, Mum and Dog–Mom
I love the freedom of painting and the power of beautiful artwork to put a smile on someone’s face. I capture animals in their cheekiest of moments, and create pet portraits that beam with character and personality. Taking inspiration from my experiences with nature, I use my personal photography to produce pieces that reflect these special moments. Whether it be walking in local woodland with my Tibetan Terrier or from my travels further afield, I use my paintbrush to remember these moments and to be enjoyed by all.
My passion for art stemmed from a young age where I enjoyed the peacefulness of art class and the freedom I was given to experiment with life drawing, portraits of famous actors and paintings of fantastic buildings. I attended Art College in the early 80’s and later studied to become a Sign Writer, where I went on to make hand-painted signs for shops and paint artwork onto racing cars and boats. After a 20 year gap of helping a family business and raising two beautiful daughters and our dog Jasper, I have re-discovered my love for art and found the time to pursue my passion and start a small business doing what I love. I now produce original artwork and prints, and take commissions for pet portraits, working in watercolour and pastel to create elegant pieces that make wonderful gifts and decorate any space in your home.
I hope to spend the future creating many more pieces of inspiring artwork that people can enjoy and forever cherish.
