About Me

Staffordshire Artist, Wife, Mum and Dog Lover

I have always loved the freedom that painting brings and the power of beautiful artwork to brighten someone’s day.

I enjoy exploring a wide range of techniques and don’t like to confine myself to one particular style. As a result, you’ll find a variety of subjects and approaches in my work. My style is naturally evolving towards a semi-abstract feel, while still holding onto elements of realism, often enhanced with a modern twist of bright colour. I work in Acrylics & oil for my landscapes and usually pastels for animal portraits. I sell cards, Giclee prints and original paintings to local shops and online and I accept commissions.

I draw inspiration from other artists and from the beautiful area where I live in Kinver. As a Staffordshire artist based in Kinver I also love travelling to explore different and diverse landscapes and wildlife to inspire me. Photographs taken during my travels often become the starting point for future paintings.

My love of animals began in childhood, growing up with family ponies and spending much of my time outdoors in the countryside. Later, our beloved Tibetan Terrier inspired my first pet portrait, which led to commissions from friends and family. I now offer pet portraits to a wider audience through my website.

If you are interested in a piece on my website or would like to discuss a commission, I would be delighted to hear from youI
